just wanna start an actually tip thread not on askapro( trollin)
so I start it off.
in my grows I've learnd to experiment. Try new things find out what's best for you.

don't set super high standers setting you up for failure.

check for light leaks.

lots of fans

and don't killem with kindness
more is never better

anyone else got something to share
try to keep trolling down.
I wanna learn as I'm sure most do
what something you do that you didn't know about when you started

don't chase ph.
blue for veg and first 1-2 weeks of flower for indoors (minimizes stretch)
blue spectrum and lower temperatures may increase chance of female.
use npk at a 1-2-3 ratio for flower for best results.
do not use superbloom or any 2 -60-1 type fertilizer (it will really fuck your shit up).

what do you mean by don't chase the ph

also are sayin blue spec for the first two weeks of flower to minimize stretch ?

I think he means if your ph is say 6.6 leave it and do not try to get it to 6.3 or you will just give yourself headaches. I could be wrong though. My ph pen is out of comission atm and have not used it in a few months, only problem i have had is i have been going a little hardbon the nutes.. still getting used to the strength of a 2 part feeding system lol.

oh I see I don't even use my pen anymore cuz do the drip test. Don't trust the pen there off alot. If you don't take proper care.

oh I've got one more tip
if you wanna get something but its to spendy. And your thinking of going diy
just buy it!

if your goal is 5.8 and your ph is 6.0, you add ph down, but then ph is 5.7; so you then use ph up but it's 6.1 now, so you use ph down; that's chasing. get close, watch it, but don't try to chase it. ;)

and yes, blue spectrum for first 1-2 weeks of flower helps keep stretch down.

okay just wanted to make sure that's what you ment and
good tip on the mh for first two weeks imma try it an my next batch( been begging for 6 weeks. Started showing preflowers :))

Very good idea on starting a new thread.. lol Im sure there's TONS of "help newbe" thread around here. Although Im sure there's room for yours ;) I hope to see you spreading good grow advice, unlike many others Ive ran into. IDK what the deal is with some, but where they learned how to grow is beyond me. lol For instance, if someone tells you if you do the nasty on your plants your buds will end up stickier. :) or spinning around in a circle at midnight 3 times around each of your plants will make them produce the hugest yields a grower has every seen! It would be good if we had some "real" tips up in here instead of all the wives tells. haha
