I've finally decided to do an outdoors spot this year despite being blanketed by clay across the region and unpredictable weather. This is the modified recipe I worked up but I know a few things are missing that I'm forgetting. I'm making a store run in the next few days so this will give us all a chance to discuss what I'm missing before then. Let's see where the wind takes us...
Procurred:
3.5 cu. ft. compost
3.8 cu. ft. sphagnum peat moss
3.25 cu. ft. coco coir (1.75 CocoRox / 1.5 Coco)
2.0 cu. ft. perlite
1.75 cu. ft. worm castings
6 cups blood meal
6 cups kelp meal
6 cups crab shell (chunky, not powdered)
6 cups bat guano (high phosphorus)
6 cups bat guano (high nitrogen)
6 cups bone meal
6 cups rock phosphate
4 cups Gypsum
4 cups Garden Lime
Still need:
Azomite
More Greensand
??
I've been feeding with compost teas once a week and plain water (8.0-8.5 outta the tap adjusted down to 6.5) between feedings.
..and that about wraps up this episode.
