Growing God's Gift

Hi all, Is there anyone experienced with growing Gods Gift strain? It is such a stocky bushy plant with a lot of leafy inner growth (sorry, don't know how to describe it better). I feel that the buds never get a chance to get big and fat because the whole plant tries to flower with tons of mini blooms. Should I be pruning all this "fluff" so when it's time to flower it can have that energy to form better buds? Normally I wouldn't mess with this strain but friends seem to like it. My other strains don't have problems.
