Growing In 4 Inch Pots ??? yellowing problems always

cant figure out why majority the time i put my baby plants into smaller pot holders about 4 inch big like very small they always tend to start yellowing after the roots have made there way threw the enitre dirt ....no matter what from nutes to w,e i use it still tends to stay yellow ??? is this because im using smaller pots or because therers alot of roots sticking out underneath the container because its got alot of roots ....i cant figure it out .....ive seen people flower a very tiny pant in a little container dont know how he manage to keep it growing without yellowing....everytime i transplant the plant kicks back over and starts growing but everytime there left in these 4 inch pots they tend to start yellowing after they get a bit bushy

I told u....I told u not to try n grow in such a small space w such small pots....my exact words to u were "looks cool on you tube but go ahead n give it a try....its not that easy"....look at u now.....

No disrespect. Experienced gardeners can do amazing things. Build up your gardening experience in bigger pots and reduce your size with every grow, if a small container is your goal. You might be struggling because small containers have no buffer. If things are not just right, the plant will suffer more dramatically and faster. Soil and large containers gives the new grower a buffer to make corrections. Good luck!

So you are doing 4" containers - why? To show it can be done? Transplant the things and give up your "dream".

He's dead set on growing in a shoe box..I tried to steer him away from it a while bk....guess he ignored my advice...#1 why?...why out 3months into a grow to yield a weeks worth of smoke....seems kinda pointless if u ask me...#2 its not easy to grow in an inclosed space in tiny pots...4 inches?...I know I know uve seen ppl do it in you tube or where ever u saw it....I saw a guy grow a monster in a Dixie cup....so what...I can't do it...u can't do it....

im not trying to grow in a 4 inch container im trying leave it till my flower room opens up to put it in big pots i just need some time to hold out for a week or so ...trying to figure out a way to slow the yellowing down for a week or so ....oh and the pc grow box is growing great so yes i can do it to looks like shes gonna harvest close to 12 grams or so shes looks really nice its amazing whats 13 watt cfls will do in a little pc grow box

I'd smoke 12 grams in 4 days so just couldn't work for me....sorry man guess I just don't understand.....I would just buy weed.

if i were you i would have a look at the party cup competition journals for tips on growing in small containers. My advice is to water it when needed, but don't let them get so dry they start drooping. Learn to feel the weight of the container and judge when it is dry and when it still has water in it. Flower them early, maybe even 12/12 from seed or rooted clone. A 4" pot won't give you much but it will give you something if you do it right.

thanks man and weather im getting a gram to 50 grams outta 1 plant i couldnt give 2 shits its all free to me fuck buying weed lololol i smoke lots of weed but 12 grams is 12 free for me lolol....ive got a friend doing 6 pc boxes in his room all on shelves on his wall looks really great ....its amazing he use up the space on his walls to get him self a few ounces of weed every few months for free gotta love that....i think i might start building shelves on my wall and do the 13 watt pc grow box ...does do wonders for space and if you dont have a closet its such a awesome way to go ....i have tons of wall space on my room so i might be able to put up 6 or so to the setp works really well for someone looking to grow a few ounces or to make a bit of money by just having boxes sit on there shelf in a room lolol....anyways guys thanks for the help as for the asshole disrespectful goofs hint hint SUCK IT EASY

I'm not being disrespectful...I'm really not...that's the stupidest idea I've ever heard on here and I honestly would like to steer u away from such foolishness... I mean why the fuck wouldn't u just build one big box if ur so set on growing in a box...???

Yeah what the "asshole" said...my first grow was in 8 inch pots...I got 9 grams.....off 3 fucking plants.....it was bag seed and flowered forrrrrever.....it'd be much easier to upgrade to say a 3 gal pot.youll yield more and it should get rid of your yellowing.....why are you so set on a box? 4 inch pots don't even seem worth it when you could easily quadruple your yield

Right I flowered my last girls finished in 6inc pots n got bout ounce off 3 plants :-/ there veg was fucked and flower to but I learned ... And one thing I learned is 13w light is pointless but hey live n learn I'm stubborn to but damn add more light at least man

From what i understand (which is not much at this point) the yellowing is coming from the plant stealing nitrogen from the lower leaves. That and 13W CFL's are probably going to have your plant stretching like crazy.
