growing in/above a swamp.

I got a great piece of swamp with full sun and impossible access for others. I have to get there in knee high rubber boots. Has anyone ever tried growing in elevated pots that would be sitting in standing water if they were not up six or eight inches above it on blocks or sumpin ??? (Thinking maybe upside down milk crates) The water is brackish/Slightly salty so I will still be carrying water in.

I'm thinking although it is of course not perfect the water will keep most of the critters out and the humidity might be good for them. If it works it would open up a whole bunch of possibilites for me.

Would you keep looking for those rare outdoor spots that are perfect or would you give it a shot.:leaf:

Elevated on blocks like your saying might work as long as the water level does'nt come up high enough to float'em away! Sounds like it would be a bitch to care for, but if you feel the risk is that high for you, go with it:)

no cannabis plant will survive in standing water. you could put a bucket on top of a few milk cartons and have it elevated out of the water though, that will work

No No folks. I intend for the plants to sit in their pots well above waterlevel on upside down dark green milk crates I have to steal dispite the warning on the crate. If I don't get a storm surge or a 12 foot plus tide I should be OK.

I am thinking the hot summer humidity will be welcomed by the girls. Thanks for the feedback Buds...:leaf:
