Growing in an Apartment

I am planning on setting a small grow. I have a few questions to ask before I follow through with it.

My first question is it safe to grow in an apartment where pest control comes once every two months and enters the house even when I am not home, how can I get around this? I know the schedule so I can work around it.

My second question is what would be an effective odor treatment so nearby neighbors can not smell it and if I have a maintanance technician come to the house to do routine maintanance.

I am aloud to give them consent whether or not they can come into my home without me being there, I can make pest control come once every four months, I live in FL so its important that I get it sprayed.

They only have consent to enter if there is an emergency otherwise I have to get a notice.

I have grown before but in an owned home and on five acres.

I was just trying to get a few suggestions and opinions if I should do a small indoor operation probably a 250 or 400w hps on 2-4 plants depending on the room I have.

I know that is why I am cautious, I think I can away with it but its just tough because they can break the lease agreement and once they find the plants it doesn't even matter than they broke the agreement its all on me that i have plants

I think a stealth grow would be ok, I just may have to resort to quantity outside in the tall grass next to my complex, its just down here by the gulf of mexico its so humid and pests im worried it wouldn't last a week out there

if you dont have surprise inspections, and can controll the smell via filter then yeah go for it... in my opinion you should build a lil stealth cabinet

im with Chi. if your gunna try it go with a nice lil stealth cabinet or dresser and for sure a filter!!

since i was on five acres before i never used filters, I do not have a way to ventillate outside, would i just a charcoal filter or something?

if your gunna make it your self you'll want activated carbon!! they sell it at fish/aquarium stores and walmart i think ...black diamond is the best for this depending on how many plants you grow !!

me my self I wouldnt grown in any apartment that has housen comen in like that because you dont know when they comen.

A locked stealth cabinet would definitely be the way to go. You will still need to be getting fresh air from somewhere though.

so as along as I had an intake and an filtered exhaust i would be fine, if it was locked, I mean it can't take that long to veg and flower, You think I can just start out 12/12 and get it flowered in about two months? Because if i start it soon pest control will come and I can just tell them to spray the living room, the kitchen and the bathroom.. They come every two months, and the maintanance or property managers will give me a notice if they come in, and if they come in unexpected as long as it doesn't smell too bad it shouldn't be too bad?

i would veg a week or two and as long as you have the exh. filtered you should be alright!! but yes you can do 12/12 from the start!!

One thing your all overlooking. Noise. Any fan that will move enough air to cool the cab plus clean the air is going to make a good amount of noise. Its going to be tricky to pull off. After you have everything set up you have to ask yourself if the guys can see hear or smell anything at all. and remember if they come in when your not home you know the nosy fuckers are gona be looking around your place, Not just a quick glance

Im gonna have to agree with mrchoclate DONT DO IT!!! its not worth gettin busted.

if you absolutely have to grow. definitely a locked cab with sufficient ventilation would be the way to go.
if you are concerned about the noise just have a fan on and some music playing when you are not home or when they come in.

i would also put a lock on the room you are putting the cab in and keep that shit locked.
you could also burn inscents.
