growing in deer infested woods. what should i do?

Put some chicken wire up around your grow - even though SOME might jump over most wont, also human hair works great, just line the inside of your chicken wire with it, and piss outside of the chicken wire, even if it rains your territory will still be marked for a while, its good to piss on trees in the area also. Chicken wire is really helpful though.

Two words: Liquid Fence

The stuff works. I have deer and rabbits all around my grow site and they don't mess with my plants at all. They hate the smell of that stuff.

There is alot of land, the simple and less stressfull idea is to find another spot. It's a cold hard fact that some woods contain many more deer then others. I have planted in deer infested forest before and will longer due it. All woods contain some deer don't make growing any harder then it HAS to be.

I am asuming this is not your land you are hiding dope out on,due to the fact you cannot regulate the deer population, so putting them where there is not too many deer should not be a problem

what the deal with the deer is is that contractors built up the area since the 70's theres hardly any open land left. you can find woods in small areas. like half acres. but out here there are hundreds of acres that have all the deer crammed in there stretching out to the everglades. you also have wild pig and small stuff like coons and oppossums and squirrels and rabbits. i was gonna get a haircut this weekend but i was thinking ill just shave my head at the house get hair and the cut will be free this time. ha. the vaccuum sounds like a good idea but its a bagless and clean right now. im gonna do the deodorant stick and break it up. ill make sure i have to pee when i go out there. im gonna string up 30 lb fishing line in a small perimeter around it.

go deer huntin nicca, post up in some camo an drop that mofo next time you see it take ah bite. if that dont work jus piss around it, sounds wierd but it will work. it will have human scent around it, im from tha south an i drop deer on the regular. they want fuck with it if there is human scent around it, you could also put human hair, or colonge around it. which ever is more convientent for you. keep tokin nicca

collect your pee in a gallon jug and spread it around the babes. moth balls. bars of soap and shavings of soap. human hair from a local hair cutter or buzz your own off! fishing line fence at 16" 30" and 50". you can also buy plenty of stuff at your local nursery.

Putting your own hair at the grow site is a bad idea. You do not want anything at your grow site that can be used by the pot po-po to trace the grow back to you. That way if your grow gets found, the only thing you are bummed about is losing your crop .... not potentially losing your freedom.

well the thing with the woods are that its private woods. the chances of humans find it is slim to none. cops would post up nearby and wait for someone to come out there. yeah they can sample the hair but they would still have to wait for someone to come out and get another hair sample. but yea im not worried about cops or people so much as i am the animals. the animals go out there cuz its free of people. its private land so hunting isnt allowed so to humans its really well protected just got the animals to deal with

for the record, human hair doesnt contain DNA, its the hair folical, DNA is in the tiny white balls at the end of the hair when you pull a piece of hair out... when you get your hair cut they dont have the part of the hair that contains dna.... so it would be safe to throw around. back on topic, i use hair, soap, and pee, i dont have deer but i have racoons, and other small animals, and they stay away with a regular dose of pee and the rest

yeah i knew hair samples would never happen. its miles from the closest human establishment explaining all the animals. well today i shave my head and collect it along with deodorant and fishing line

the white tails around here are not deterred by anything other than a tall strong fence. pepper wax just gives it flavor lol they don't care about urine or soap. I even tried the fishing line and they broke through it

well i put hair and deodorant around it so hopefully it will work. but its in the ground and it made it through the night so thats a good thing. everytime i plant in the woods its been eaten within 12 hours so it made it past that so maybe it will make it

I've seen similar post about deer and one thing comes up over and over again: piss and tricks dont work well. Put up a deer fence. You buy them on the internet and I hear they are worth their weight in gold. You can get them rather cheap too: Link http://www.amazon.com/Dewitt-7x100-Deer-Fence-Netting/dp/B001O85QV0 Thats just an example. Im sure there a better ones and maybe cheaper. Hope this helps.

I use liquid fence religiously. I was at lowes the other day the bonide made a product called "REPEL ALL". It was granular and you lay a perimeter around whatever you wanted protected and it deters supposedly quite a few different animals including deer. http://www.bonide.com/products/product.php?category_id=2360

The perimeter fence is the way to go. A lot of people say to use fishing line. Ed Rosenthal told me to use 100 test fishing line at 2 and 4 feet. I use heavy duty weed wacker line instead. Its MUCH strong than 100-pd test fishing line, and a lot easier to get when you are not near the ocean..

One thing though... you MUST do the lines at 2 and 4 feet, if not the animals can get over or under a single line.

just use some chicken wire to build a perimeter fence...its not rocket science here =)
