Growing in Hydroton only?

Tried searching put couldnt find an answer.

In the process of rooting some clones I took off my plants before putting them into flower.

I made a DWC cloner where the stems hang down into the water. 2 have already shown roots in 5 days.

I was just thinking of how Im going to plants these without Rockwool or a Rapid Rooter? Just put them in my net pot and surround with Hydroton?

I've done this successfully numerous times, Rooted specimen placed into net pot add hydroton and place into whatever system

thats exactly what i do. some people say to put the roots on the bottom of the pot. but i usually put a lil bit of hydroton on the bottom of the pot. it seems like they hold sturdier for me that way. the main thing is just to make sure you get enough stem below the pebbles to get a sturdy footing. IMO the more you get down there the better. Keep tokin

Definitely be careful and what not. You may want wait until the roots are nice and long so it is a little sturdier. I would wait for 2-3 inch roots depending on size of clone
