Growing inside and outside

I can't speak much on the our door all day inside all night. But I personally keep mine on a 18 /6 light schedule. And Iset mine outside during the 18 hours of light. Just to get the better light. But there back in by lights out. Now I have read that plants grower inside produce more cloraphil(sp?) And less crystals to protect the plant from UV damage. And that the sun can possibly harm the plant bc of the uv. I started mine by setting them outside for two hours then slowly increasing the time spent outside until it was out all day. But I m by far not a expert. And I am simply relaying what I have read and my experience. If I am wrong may someone with more experience correct me.

sounds right! keep an eye out for temp changes though if the difference inside to outside is less than 10 degrees or 15 degrees MAXIMUM you should be fine. I made the mistake of just straight up putting them outside once... they died from light burn/stress so gradual is surely better than all at once in my experience! Also the sun is better and more intense than any light you could artificially give them. So i'd say go for it :)

Not at all that's completely fine. Actually better than just using CFL's because nothing really compares to natural sunlight. The only downside is the potential to bring in bugs and disease from outside. Keep your eye on things

Yes thats one thing I am worried is diseases. Any way to tell if the plant has a disease? Like if a leaf is multi color green then does it have a disease? And how to tell if it has mutation problems??

As long as you never forget them, and always use CFL's thru the night-- I have seen people do this with really great results--- you can do 12/12 this way too---IF you are NEVER EVER late bringing them inside and ALWAYS have zero light penetration in their 'darkroom"... OR-- after July4th- leave them outside.....they'll start flowering near August (a bit later for Sativa Dominant strains)
