Growing off a boat

So I was thinking about all the pro's and con's of indoor and outdoor. Outdoor you have to drive yourself way in and still risk being on other people's property or w/e. Parking is always an issue unless you are planning on a hell of a hike. Still, people manage to find crops and the choppers get some. Indoors is expensive to get started, I figure a good indoor system would be about $5,000 to make is cost effective, then you have to worry about neighbors and its hard to claim ignorance if its in your basement. What if you had a boat to reach the most remote, perfect spots. I don't know if the dea spends time checking islands and coastal regions as much as they patrol national parks. Plus, if I brought my gf it looks like we're a couple off for a sailing trip. The main advantage of a boat would be that it would be almost impossible for anyone else to find our stuff. Instead of trails heading off the beaten path, there are trails coming right out of the ocean. A lot less people own boats than they do cars, and there is a lot more area on the water to cover.

Also, I had an idea for a tag-along sub that could be towed behind the boat underwater. It could be loaded up and would have a built-in ballast system. In case we ever had company that would wanna search the boat, it could simply be dropped to the bottom of the sea. A encrypted-radio frequency would be utilized in the correct code to trigger the ballast, bringing it back up.

Haha, I think up some crazy stuff sometimes but this was something I thought I'd share. I figure if someone had to invest 5-10grand into some good equipment a boat might be a good investment especially in these down times. I've read articles where boat owners are scuttling their boats just to be rid of the headache. At least buying a boat you wouldn't have to pay rent, just crash below deck. I don't have any other responsibilites holding me back, no kids, average job. It'd be one crazy adventure but I could use some of that right about now.

depends where your port and your island are. if it's anywhere with constant boat traffic, small or big, then chances are the coast guard would catch onto a boat, the same boat, constantly going back and forth to the same island for no apparent reason.

good idea and crazy idea ..... i live right on a marina so i take my canoe up creek which turn out to be the middle of a mediean of are highway/ parkway so there no one that nows about this spot just looks like a patch of woods its deffinetle the most stealthest way to go about it all u need is a fishing rod ... do some reaserch on creeks in your area and islands and then spend the day out looking around i u have a boat already...
