Hi Growers........I am about 10 days into 12/12 with 12 plants. I have noticed 3 males coming on. I would like to sacrifice 1 female to make some seed. When I pull the males out could I put 1 male back under my veg light at 12/12, wait for pollen and take a female and pollinate her, put her back in the grow room without ruining the other females ?? I have read something about this but don't know if I have it right. I only grow 2 crops a year...from about mid Sept. to mid Apr...Where I have my grow room gets way to hot during the summer months to grow anything. That's why seeds work best for me instead instead of clones. ....Any info is appreciated...

correct me if im mistaken, cant you just grow a male as you would grow the fem's and it will produce seeds instead of bud?

i was just saying that i thought males produced seeds without the presence of a Female. so u wouldnt have to go through the long thing of pollinating a fem. but then again you might want to breed them together.stonegrove....Not sure I understand your question. I just want to pollinate 1 female for seed but still grow her out with the unpollinated ones....

no a male will not produce seeds on his own, just pollen(only way a single plant will produce seeds is if it turns hermi and self pollinates) that link is to a thread made by the mighty fdd! lol its probably the best description of how to make seeds
