well if by "work" do you mean, will plants grow.
yes it will work
if you mean can i get any decent amount of weed
no it wont
if im reading you right your talking starting from sprouts and going straight to flower after 14 days?
i mean if you only have 1 foot of vert grow space i reackon it would work for that.
but id suggest laying it on it side and keeping it tied down
if its strictly a time issue, yes it would take less time but your gonna take a serious output hit.
if it is a time issue, learn to clone, a clone once rooted could match that schedual easily.
AND provide a decent return
if its not a time issue, dont go by X number of days, no 2 plants are the same, even seeds from the same bud have subtle genetic derivations.
oddly enough height is a better gauge of how your doin. (unless you have autoflower, or a strain with spacific flowering time req)
most plants roughly double in height during flowering (sativas have a longer flowering time and can go triple)
figure your overal max grow height (how much distance is their between the top of the soil and the point when the light burns your hand)
devide that in half or thirds, when your plants are that high, switch to flower.
or is this just an oddly phrased question about light cycle?
