How goes it everyone? Well i had a big question, i am doing my first outdoor grow this year and it is on a very limited budget. I do not have the money to afford some top of the line potting soil so what im planning on doing is just taking the native dirt in my area and mixing that up with a little bit of worm castings, perlite, peat moss, etc. Is this a bad idea? The native soil around here is really what you would call dirt. It doesnt contain clay or anything like that just plain old brown, dusty dirt. I am hoping that someone could give me some input on whether basing my soil mix off of regular dirt is a huge mistake or not, like i said i am not going to be able to afford a bunch of soil but i can afford ammendments to make the dirt better. Any input is appreciated, thanks.
