TweedleD Active Member Mar 9, 2011 #2 Ofcourse weed will grow in dirt, as long as that dirt has enough nutrients. Get your soil tested, compare nutrient make up and concentration (EC) to soil on the market. Is your soil sand like or clay like? Only then will have you answer. TD
