Guerrilla grow plants stretching problem?

Vegged them for 3 weeks indoor before the weather got nice, put them out at the site late may, they were only half a foot tall when I transplanted now they are 3.5 after just 2 weeks! Is this because it’s trying to grab more light or simply growing well?View attachment 4923190View attachment 4923191

Most likely just happy plants that were ready to stretch their legs(roots) down into the ground and explode! Try topping the tallest couple colas to help make it more bushy if tall is not what you prefer.
