guidance in choosing LED's for my room

I'm currently using 3200 watts of HPS and inda grow over 3 4x4 flood tables SOG. My goal is to add a 4th table while keeping total wattage the same or lower. I'd like to go 100% LED but for all the research I do, I'm still stuck in the mud trying to decide what would be best for production. This room is 12/12 only so veg is a nonfactor for these lights. Funds aren't an issue so long as the units pay off in the long haul. Would like to avoid DIY for the time being.

The LED guide threads seem to be quite combustible places. Hopefully this can stay civil :p

Sorry I didn't reply to your question earlier but I'm a diy led guy do you have any knowledge with tools? If so it's real easy to put a panel together. Main question is what is your budget? the panels I make run about $700ea to make here's a pic of my tents a 4x4 and a 4x8. I aslo have as well a (2) 2x4 tents and a 2x3 tent for my moms and clones

i checked your pics out a few times while lurking.... VERY impressive results! I am handy with tools and my hands but have never gone near electrical anything... mostly woodwork and yard work.

how many of your panels would I want per 4x4? 700 is very reasonable so long as I don't need 20 of them :p

just for cost reference, I was seriously considering 4 apache at600s. I want to get every gram I can out of these 4 tables.

Realstyles panels.......
x2?
x4 over a 4x8.....

Prebuilts that I, me, nobody else but myself likes, not an endorsement......

Area 51.
...x6-8 W90's over 4x4?
pre order / back order/ forward order Ho! They are legit and your ROI would drop fast...Vero's are very nice and more than one member around here considers them superior to Cree....but thats how shit talkin begins...:)
PLC Pacific Light Concepts....x2 4x4
the guy who got Apache to even build the 660, cuz they didn't before his prototype asfaik.....but new and has to live up to reputation, but build components are superior.

thanks for the helpful info drop abiqua :) ill be checking out the PLC brand for sure. bet it would be a pain in the butt hanging 32 w90's but i'm sure the distribution would be far superior to the apache's (or any single larger unit)

Apaches are hard to beat. Price can be rough, but they are still top panels to this day. Plug and play. Almost identical efficiency as the new a51 and optics panels...but with the Apache spectrum which IMO is still he best quality results I have had. And in a full size room with full ceilings coverage is not a problem.

I'm working on getting a new discount code from them.

Other brands mentioned are all better priced but newer, potentially better performers. Look around, but if in the end you come back to AT, you won't regret it.

I have ample head room above the plants, how far up would you hang them to get best spread over the 4x4? do you suggest 3:2 or 4:1 white to red ratio on the panels? Also, I would think a mixture of 50 and 14 degree lenses would be better than all 50 but what do I know.

a discount code would be awesome, every bit helps!

have your units been 100% issue free since you started running them? I worry that if one had a problem, I'd be shit out of luck while sending it in to be fixed. Guess I could keep an emergency HPS around just in case

thanks in advance :)

@Myles117 if you made the light you can fix the light and if you can buy 32 90w you should make your own. I'm not selling my panels and I get pm all the time asking if I am and I tell them no. I'm not ready to sell because I don't need the competition lol J/K not I'm not ready to sell panels. It's easier to have you make your own and you'll feel that much better when you harvest trust me.

30-36" with 14's is prime. Any lower go with the combo setup(exterior 14's interior50's). Lower than 24 go all 50. The more 14's the better IMO.

Infuse the R2(3:2). Specially for a purely flower light.

I have at120's from 2011 that are still running flawless. The worst I had was a fan that slowed down...air compressor blow out and fixed...1 unit out of 16. Plus my at600s haver had an issue...even dropped one pretty far onto the fan side and still fine.

Anyone who has held an Apache will vouge for how tank like they are.

My code usually drops 400$. I'll hit him up tomorrow.

Can you hit me up when you get that code (or if you find out its a no go). Saving 1600 while getting 4 of those bad boys would be HUGE
