hello everybody!
I'm new here, this is my first thread so please forgive me if I'm doing something wrong.

I've been growing for 7-8 years now, been growing in different systems with different strains.. so I have some experience. that being said, I have a huge problem witch I don't seem to figure out and I need professional help, please!

me and my friends all have the same problem, probably a disease.

here are the signs for it:

- all the pistils are dying as they emerge, almost no white pistils.
- leaves are yellowing and wrinkles all over, from younger to older, as the young affected first and most.
- stems, as well as other parts of the plant, are also changing colors to yellow/brownish.
- growth is slow, thin and unhealthy.
- not all the plant seem to be affected but almost all plants have it in some level.

I figure it's a disease because all grows related to that gen (w.widow) having the same symptoms. plus, new strains that got close, got it to.

I think it is pythum or some kind of root rot but I'm not sure because the roots seems to be pretty white, strong and healthy.

we have the same thing in coco, soil and 2 different hydro setups... different nuts, environments, water and etc...but same problem in all grows.

week 5 and all pistils are dead... some pics below:
(will have better soon)

please help me figure out what it is and what to do because I'm helpless!!!!:wall::fire:

Looks like heat stress to me too.

Put your hand on the top of the canopy, under the light, is it hot on your hand? Then it's way too hot for the plants.

I would need better pics...I am not even sure what I am looking at here...High levels of nitrogen will make newer growth very light colored and also crinkled...but so will a lot of other things...Could be heat but might not be...You make it sound like too many plants are affected for it to be something run of the mill like pH or light height...If you really think it is something moving along the plants and all your friend's plants have it too, then you and your affected friends need to toss out all your plants and clean and scrub everything and then start over...because if it is something moving from plant to plant then it will just keep on going...if you can't afford to do that then you really need to find out what it is so you can fix it...but you make it sound like it is not a simple issue. If multiple people in a similar area with different systems are all having the same issue then you are all doing the same wrong thing, or again it is some systemic thing that will continue to circle your gardens.

thanks for the replays guys!

I will have some better pics later on.

it can't be heat, temperture didn't go above 25c for now and lights are high enough.
its more likely to be systematic, we all experienced and growing the same strains for a while, but still..

the most distinguish sign is that all the pistils at the affected parts are dead and dried out and the calyxes are shrunk and yellow.
it is now in 5th week but it had been developing like this from the beginning of the bud formation.

discarding is almost impossible for us! please help!

If those are white widow, then over feeding is a real possiblity. I noticed that ww needs and tolerates, much less in the way of nutes than other strains I've grown.
Check the heat, how close are the lamps?
If you can, gently remove one of the plants from the pot and check the roots, what color are they?
What kind of ventilation are you providing? fans?
As an emergency treatment you can add a small amount of hydrogen peroxide in your water next time you water, as this will give it a shot of oxygen to the root system. Warning: this will also kill the benificial microbes in your soil. But it will also kill any undesiroble pathogens in the soil. Then let the soil go dry, as in drooping plants, befor the next watering and feed 1/4 to 1/2 strength nutes.
Did you spray wih some kind of bug spray or fungas spray? some will discolor the pistols in the new buds.
sorry I could not be more helpful.
