had some questions about 12/12 and 18/6

i read that 12/12 is faster for ur plant to bloom but it also doesnt give you alot of bud but i wanted to know if you could do 12/12 till it blooms and than the veg cycle use the 18/6 ... and would that work the same for ur plant and still be healthy wit alot of bud... and i also wanted to know when u plant the seeds do u just plant one seed per gallon pot (or how ever big ur pot is) or do u put a couple of seeds 2gether to make sure you get a plant that grows and get a better chance for a female plant just incase some seeds become duds?? thank you for ur help hopfully u guys can help me out alot

It doesn't work that way. Harvest amounts generally depend on strain and amount of veg time. Plants vegged longer should produce more. Lighting important, too.

As for seeds, you're obviously talking about bag-seed, which if you've plenty, there's no reason planting 2 per pot wouldn't be ok, as long as you thinned out the weakling of the two. Commercial seeds are expensive, so 2 per pot isn't desired.
It's much better to start your seeds in small containers than gallons.
