I got 1 for you all. This is the 2nd time this has happen to me. I have a plant and on the 2 upper shade leaf there are a series of white hairs growing from the middle of the stem. It's between the stake and the actual leaf itself. This plant is about a week from harvest, the budz are small and the leaf coming from the bud are dark green and curled up. I've been growing the same 2 kinds of smoke for 3 years hydroponically and this has only happen 2xs. Same kind of plant and all started from seed but in 8th generation cloning. Yes, all my babies are clonez- Thai and White Widow. Sorry to say but yes, it's the white widow. The babie is small-3'- and has few small budz- not like the regular big phat 1s they usually put out. But they are as snowy as the big 1s. I can't get back to take a pic right now cause they are sleeping. But tomorrow I'll see if my little camera will take a good enough pic to post.

What kind of system? Can you look at the roots? May be able to explain the poor production. I have had buds form well onto the stem of a fan leaf, but it sounds like it is not off of the bud but seperate correct?

I built what I call my hydrobed. They are 6" deep I guess most would call it dwc. They get consant air from a 70lpm air pump and are on a drip system as well. No, they aren't like the pics here. These hairs are growing up the stem of the fan leaf. My camera didn't take a good enough pic but I will retry again with another 1 tomorrow. I tried to take the pic with the fan leaf still on the plant. I don't see any root anywhere, its just white hairs. And its only on the 2 upper fan leaf. If I have to I'll cut them off and try to get a better pic. The plant produces, just not much. Not like I normally get. ! to 2 ozs per. This new system I built is alot better than my old way. I've almost doubled my growth by changing setups. I have 3 hydrobeds, 1 8x4 and 2 4x4 hydrobeds and I can get a full harvest after 7 weeks of flowering. And it rocks my world-and the 1s I share with. I've been growin white widow and thai for 3 years and never get tired of it. My last harvest had main colas 14-16" long and as phat as your fist. They get about 6-8" tall and until I can move my light rail up I have to bend the plants over and tie em off. I'll try and post a few pics of both rooms tomorrow. As I said before, I clone my plants and have done pretty good.
