half cfl half outdoor

realistically speaking would 24 hours of light 8 from cfl 16from outside keep my seedling and clones in veg till i feel like i can just put em outside for a natural flowering . what do you guys think

how many and whats your light bill looking like, im doing this at my girls house and dont want there to be a spike in the power bill ill probably buy 4 more bulbs maybe mix t up i think this is day light and theres a soft light one also
 
If you want to go cheap on power invest in some 100Watt equivilent LED's. Pick them up at Lowes or Home Depot. Probably only cost a few bucks a month to operate. I woud say you would need about eight of those lights to keep them growing in Veg till planting time.

happen to have a link to something in particular haha, new to this and am completely lost

got any pics of ur light setup? im tryna build a little diy where i can raise the lights or
lower em if theyre to close thinking about getting some splitters throw some wood and hanging them in my tent
 
I have 8 CFLs and a 4bulb t-5 setup
On a couple hand full of plants
All my plants are doing well
Between 12-20 in tall

I’m thinking of getting a hps light but I think what I got would be enough till outdoors

You can also start putting you plants near the windows that get the most sun
Then when it gets warm out start putting them out
15min or so at a time outside
The sun is hot!

i would but im keeping them lowkey from people ao far so good though bulbs are definately keeping them in veg with daily growth. only problem is theyre getting to big for the tent

I understand
My space is small as well

I’m just going to watch them grow in a tight setup till outdoors

I see growth but slow growth :/
It’s ok tho because it’s all a head start for the outdoor season

yea i feel you, i did 5 clones and one bag seed now theyre too big, also found a dosidos seed and a sack i got germinated the same day now its in a cup in the tent hoping for a quick sprout

Do you plan on vegging outside or just go stright into flower
?? Jw?
You will need to match the outdoor light schedule for vegging
And for flower put them out when the days start getting shorter

theyre going into flower but from outdoor light 12 n then movingthem into dark areanfor 12
 
Got these two haze under led and putting them outside in two weeks . They are close to 4 weeks now . Next is blueberry . Nice ones you got there I still swear by CFL it grows strong good looking seedlings . Used to have over 300 watts of cfl blazing .

You might have to top regularly as she will want to stretch.
Also, get a big pot.
