well to begin with i was using CFLs (combined 50w) and the girls didn seem to be getting anywhere
and with a lack of stores that sell MH or HPS i looked into alternative options
and i found halogen has a broader spectrum than HPS while still giving the red light that i was after although almost no blue light for grow
yes before its mentioned it does get very hot, but i control the heat with a fan and i'v never seen it above 88 and seems to hold around 79 so its quite adequate
the halogen light i am using is 150W and my plants love it
their just on their 6th day of 12/12 and 2 of the plants are showing pistils
nutes are on the way so for now im using biobizz topmax and some molasses
ill get some pics up as soon as i can
