Hi Guys very briefly i am considering moving to autopots from hand watering, i was wondering if the environment was optimal would autopots yield more than handwatering
I don't trust any thing auto. because you get lazy and don't go check on them that 1 day. and ow shit some thing is wrong only if I went down stairs to water last night . could be you for got to raise the lights or those auto shit get clogged up with nutrients or my luck never get it dialed in so it will over or under water . or worse never water .
The only watering I do is when I change the res. A hygro meter with an adjustable saturation range would be the ideal solution for soil growers. Should try one in a rock table some day
I got an autopot system like a month ago. Im very happy with it, i would choose autopot > hand watering . its been so easy but i still check everyday im too afaid to get lazy and allow it to have problems
I never hand water my plants.
Passive hydroponics are great.
A simple tub with pots with holes in the bottom.
Whatever you want to call it, it's simple and works well.
The plants take what they need.
At first you have to judge how much water to use.
I feed them water every 5 days.
My tub should dry up in 2 days when it's working right.
When the plants get bigger, you will have to add more water or feed more often.
Pretty simple.
check out hempy and world of hempy!
use coco, perlite, whatever works, it's great.
no pumps, still hydro; add nutes, ph, and water for 10% runoff is how i like it
