Hardening off clones

hello growers of the world , CG is here:leaf:

so i have two new clones that i just planted in soil , and i want to replant them outside , on march 21 of course..
i heard that i should do "hardening off" to them before i can put them in the garden with a direct sun light..
and also read about people that took them straight from nder the bulb to the outside under the sun..

what about the drastic change of the temperature ?
and until i'll replant them outside , how far thay should be from the bulb ?
other than that , any clone tips ?

If you are in the northern hemisphere it's pprobably too early. I put clones out in April and they started to flower, not enough daylight in the northeast.

Too early they will flower and be stunted make it april 21. No need for hardening off if spring temps are av.

I honestly never had any more stress from light and temps then a little light bleach on a leaf or 2, maybe a little wilting but thats it... the more stress you put on them at once the less they will be able to handle it, just pick a day where temps are close to room temps or better yet just slowly adjust your growroom temps..
If you are really concerend about the sun there are 2 things you can do, you either put them out on a cloudy day, or put them in the shade for a day.
But as i said i never had enough stress on my plants to make me more cautious.
Good Luck & Peace!

that's a month from now n they'll be too big to fit in my grow room . which is already too crowded..

and how about the distance from the bulb ? as usual , 35-40cm?

Feel it.. Put your hand at plant level with the lights on. To hot move the light up. That's how you know. No one can tell you the distance if they do it's because they are reading it out of a book..

Exactly my problem, I need to put them outside NOW lol. Kids are nosy. I couldn't wait to buy the clones then (may) since I don't know if I would have the money. Turning my outdoor shed 8'x8'x6' into a room to supplement light for a few hours at night but I already got 3 clones transplanted and used to the sunlight.

I was hoping I could put them out by the 3rd week of April, which should be 14:15 hours of daylight here in Norcal but I think that might be a bit overzealous.
