Harvest day!

This was my first decent harvest. First time around I missed a hermie and had massive heat issues, not to mention I vegged WAY too long. The end product dried too long and was not very potent.

This time around, much better. Nothing prolific or groundbreaking, but a good start. HPS instead of floros, better ventilation, killed any males right away, and vegged for about the right amount of time. I tested a couple buds over the last few weeks and these are dank and potent! Can't wait until they are dried/cured.

Funny how easy I thought this would be when I started this 8 months ago on my GF's urging and $100. I had to get creative many many times to keep this thing from becoming a money pit. But one more decent harvest and the results should pay back the investment. And there are many many more harvests to come.

So, to all newbies, hang in there. Lurk and learn, be patient, and don't skimp where you shouldn't.

To all the elders: thank you for being bar none the most helpful pot people on planet earth. This wasn't possible without you. I wish I could smoke all of you out....

I grow legally under OMMP laws in Oregon. Nothing incriminating about it at all. Plus that look on my face is priceless!

Congrats.

It takes trying to grow to realize what a service your dealer has been doing for you, but there's nothing better than smoking your own product. Now you know you can do it and just keep improving each time.

Thanks!
I have always gone black market for meds, averages out to approx 1 oz and about $250 a month.

I have sunk about $1000 into my operation total. I suspect I should get 2 oz worth of meds or so this time, saving me about $500. Along with the first harvest of about 1/2 oz, the investment is starting to pay off. Especially since I have it going perpetual now and should have another similar harvest in 3-4 more weeks.

I can't wait to grow outdoors this summer and harvest my full 24 oz limit all at once. Time to go lurk in the outdoor section for a while....

looking good

keep up the good work

:bigjoint:
Thanks!

Next plant is only 4-5 weeks behind, and it has been accidentally supercropped (ie I broke the damn thing). Hopefully I will be perpetually keeping up the good work.

I included a pic. You can see 5 shoots and they are all the 'top cola' according to what the plant thinks

Great job on your harvest, keep up the good work!
Thanks, I just took a look at your grow too. Looks good! Hope you have good success in learning to clone. I read a quote on RIU along the lines of 'If they're not dead, they're alive'. That single quote helped me to get through some of those tough times cloning, when it seems to take forever to root/see new growth.

Good luck!
