Harvest time looks earlier than the time given

Hi guys i m growing moby dick#2 by dinafem and the harvest time by them is 60-70 days but its day 53 of flowering and almost all my pistills hav turned red and the buds look ripe to harvest..i am confused since this is my first grow from dinafem...i know i had some cal-mag deff and the harvest time changrs due to environment...is it possible that the cannabis plant is ready to harvest befor the given time phrame..i mean the plant ripens faster than the given time..

So I think what your seeing here is the beginning of the last 2 weeks. Most plants will stop any new growth and the pistils receed. Then they spend the final 2ish weeks swelling up the calyxs. I've watched my plants get heavier over the course of a few days and the branches start to bend. Letting it go another 7-14 days will help ensure you get your max yield and potancy. Have you checked the trichomes for maturity at all? Since its your first grow its hard to know exactly what to look for, but its a good indicator as well.

harvest times are almost never 100% spot on.. saying that, most strains out there have more than one pheno type, some may lean more towards one parent or the other, more indica dom or more sativa dom, and one or more may finish sooner or later than what a breeder may say.. so yes, strains can finish sooner or later than what a breeder may say..

Thank you for the reply..ahh dint know the strains can finish sooner thsn the given harvest time...so can u please tell me looking at the pictures..is it ready for harvest ..an approx guess

Looks like two weeks from here. could be a week or maybe even 3, I'd harvest at day 70, but thats me.

Thank you guys ....i have two plants at day 53 .....i was scared for once cuz almost all my pistills look red ..close to 95% ...i will harvest one st day 60 and the other at 70
