Harvest Time Soon, Let Me Know What You Think

So my Speedy Gonzales plants will be ready soon! I am waiting on my magnifying glass but the first one will probably be done in a week and the last one probably two weeks. I cut off a little bud tonight that looked like it was closest to be doing, so I could get comfortable with trimming, hanging before I have 4 plants in front of me.

The third picture is about halfway through trimming it, cut most of those little leaves down to the bud. Going to leave it in the closet till dry, its small so not too worried about mold, maybe will throw it near a fan for a little each day.

I didn't leave any leaf to bend for a test so how do I know when dry enough?

you may not be worried, but your more than likely going to get mold if you dont have good airflow. it looks pretty good, can you show us a few pics of the plant/s as a whole and some of the colas more up close?

As per what you said, I rehung the bud in front of a fan before I left this morning. I will definitely put some pics up when I get home tonight. In my journal there are some recent pictures from a week or so ago.

So they are recovering from a pretty bad nute burn little less than a week ago. I don't know how it happened because I was using about 1/8 teaspoon per gallon once a week, which is pretty low. They have been flushed and are looking better, leaves will never recover though.

Looks good. i'd strongly suggest letting some of the less mature areas stay and finish up after you harvest all the ripe parts, some of the parts look like they need it imo, they still have some filling out to do . as for how to tell when to start curing is when the outsides feel somewhat crisp but the inner stem bends and not breaks. how are the trichomes looking?

Sounds good, I was planning on harvest on a cola to cola basis. The one I cut the other day probably has about one more day of drying left.
Unfortunately I forgot all about getting a magnifying glass. I have a 30x Loupe coming in the mall and it should be here by Thursday so won't know until then.

Got the 30x loupe, even with the magnifying glass it is still pretty hard to get the trichs clearly at good angle to tell. I want to say that all the trichs are cloudy with a very few having some reddish.
I will try to get good trich pics tonight and if so, down they go.
