Harvest time

so, im working with a new strain and have come close to harvest time. about 15% of the hairs are red and but the trichs are half amber and half cloudy. what should i do? harvest now? or wait until more hairs turn red?

I would harvest now. the trichs are a better indicator of readiness than the pistels

With only 15% of the pistils withered, you should not be seeing half amber trikes. The amber color of the resin is an indication that it is degrading, and that typically doesn't happen while the pistils are still viable.

Have the calyxes swelled? If so, they look like they have a seed inside.

i rekon you should dry it now,and then smoke it..and get really `stoned

if u wait to long to harvest does the high get lower when you smoke it
