I thought wet trimming reduces bud rot? Is it better to dry trim?
drying your bud in a proper environment reduces bud rot. When you wet trim your plants dry out way too fast, and you lose a lot of the flavors and smoothness of the smoke. and you shoot any chance to cure your bud right in the ass and foot at the same time.

I was a little ornery this morning and wasnt thinking, sometimes in really really humid climates it is necessery to wet trim, but when you dont have to , its much better to dry trim and let your plants take 10-14 days to dry out. Cut the plant at the base and dry the whole thing.

Tested this multiple times there isn’t any difference in flavor or smell wet trimmed vs dry trimmed. As long as it’s dried correctly it comes out the same. You have to know your environment ... the only difference is dry trimming is a pain in the ass

well I tested it as well had had very different results. a plant that dries over two weeks tasted much better and had way more flavor than a clone of the same plant that was dry trimmed and dried in 6 days.
