so i was looking over my big girl the other day and found lots of milky and amber so im chopping 2day 8 weeks 2 days flowering ill put some pics up when im done

Damn that's impressive. How many watts cfl? When I did only cfl with no hid the plants always took much longer to amber up. 8 week strains were going more towards 9.5. I'm looking forward to the pics. Enjoy it!

thanks 400 actual watts 2 plants the other is gonna take forever ill have some more pics up soon stay tuned

prob could have gone a few more days but i chopped it anyway close enough for me needed to make room for the sativa that wasent getting much light also will be setting up my 600 hid 2day tent came the other day these were just tester plants this was my first indoor grow been growing outdoors for years tho

haha its true i am very pleased with how well the cfls did i was not expecting it to turn into what it did now time to pop some beans and get the 600 up and running

I hear ya, i think the cfl's and t5s get a lot of negativity they don't deserve.. It's obvious that good quality bud can be grown with those lights, but people sometimes get stuck on 1 thing and won't let go..

There's reasons for everything. Why do you think they receive such negativity? Simply because HID lighting is more efficient. Notice how even the OP of this thread had a 600w tent setup on the way during his CFL grow..it's just better lol.

Never said cfl's were as good as hids.. But everytime you turn around, you see someone saying you cant grow good bud without hid.. THATS BULLSHIT.

well they look good anyways :). welcome to the 600w world. thats how i got started when i first decided to grow :). i think you will love it. well done + rep
