How do i get my bud to look and smoke like it does in a amsterdam coffee shop?

I don't know, what does it look like now?

im about 2 weeks from harvest previous grows have all gone well until harvest time, i trim my plants then hang udside down for a week then into jars, bud looks like shit and tastes of hay but actually does get me stoned

soak them in asswater for a week before drying... no but seriously just get better at drying and curing sounds like you are drying them too much or curing them improperly. The real goal when you get down to it is to get your buds to the perfect moisture content so that they can just be jarred up and left alone. if you put them in the jar and after a day they are wet again they are not dry enough, dump them out for another day then jar them back up the goal is to have them just right in the jar. if they ar too still too dry after a day in the jar then you went too far. I think burping jars is bad. I think you should be able to just leave them bee for at least a week. perhaps check them after one day and if they feel right let em go a week and if they still feel right let them go a couple weeks..... hard to explain, it is just something you have to figure out...

If your weed taste like hay, its not dried and cured right.
I would guess you are putting bud that is too wet into the jars.
Always dry till the stems snap not bend when you bend them over, then place into jars and burp them.

As far as the bud looking like shit, well........ that's your fault or maybe the strain (unlikely but) some just dont have bag appeal.
