:peace:....How much more did the lower Branches Grow, was there a major difference in Bud Growth on Lower Buds and what do you think would happen if you reversed process and take smaller Buds and Leave main Bud....Nice Thought Process either way.....:bigjoint:....Positive Growing !

You growin indoors? Im out but i usually harvest half you dont get much more growth really but it does give them more time to mature. As to reversing the process the tabacco industry removes the under growth "sucker leaves" to promote larger growth of the main plant but thats done much earlier than would be considered a harvest.:peace::joint::joint::joint:

We try to take the outdoor harvest in two or three cuttings. First cut of harvest is the cola and all top buds, panel leaves and dying leaves are dropped to allow light inside of plant. Second cut gets the secondary growth under the colas. Last cut if I go three is the balance. Yesterday I did the final cutting on three Northern Lights and pulled an additional 13 oz. wet.

You don't have to harvest all at once, just be selective about where you cut from and the plant will continue to produceand mature.

Tobacco plants are also harvested from bottom leaves up, the top leaves are the last to go.
