harvesting in stages?

hey guys i'm about 3/4 of the way through give or take (sorry no pics) and the bottom buds seem more developed than the main cola or the other buds closer to the top. my question is do you guys harvest in different stages? it makes sense to me although its one of those topics that i haven't heard too much input on. thoughts?

i do it all at once. monitor top buds for ripeness, imo.

I usually harvest larger plants in stages. At minimum, I like to harvest the top half of the plant and give the bottom some time in the sun. I would have a tough time harvesting all at once (mechanics) anyhow so it works out.

I think I may try to harvest in stages this year. My bottom buds are not as dense, but Im outdoor soooo....it may be different for you.

you can even just leave a nug or 2 and watch what it does. the end of october is fine outdoors for my strains but they change a lot in the last couple weeks and some might turn out better if they go an extra week or 2
