Harvesting Northern Lights and Industrial CBD

Hey everyone,

My girlfriend and I are in the final weeks of our first grow (64 days since sprout). We have two plants: a northern lights auto from sensi seeds and an industrial cbd from dinafem.

The industrial cbd got a ton of yellow leaves over the past week and the tips of some of the leaves on the Northern lights are starting to fade a bit. Their trichomes are still mostly clear with a few random ambers on the industrial cbd. Most of the hairs on the NL have turned orange and the hairs on the Industrial cbd are even further along.

Would anyone mind throwing out a guess as to how much longer we might have so I can plan when to start the pre harvest flush? The first picture is NL and the second is the industrial cbd.

Also, is there any difference in looking at trichomes from high thc plants vs high cbd/low thc plants?

They are getting close, maybe 2 weeks, maybe less. I usually let mine go past what the breeder says it will mature. You can grow good weed going by their estimated harvest time but you can grow great weed by stretching that out a bit. I have went over 100 days on some strains. Just depends what you are looking for. Earlier harvests lighter stone, later harvest better couch lock IMO...

Thanks Seedlin! The Northern Lights is supposed to be done around 50-60 days and the Industrial cbd around 70 days. I definitely like a body high so maybe another three weeks will let enough amber develop before chopping. I’m hoping both will be done at the same time so I can dry them in the grow box as I don’t really have anywhere else to dry them
