Im looking into getting a rosin press with a budget of around 400. The nug smasher mini has good reviews and comes with a lifetime warranty so its definitely a press I am considering. If anybody has used this press I would like to hear your opinion and am also open to other suggestions for under 500.

It is a great machine and will do the job very well. I had no issues with it and if you do they respond quick as I had asked a question and they respond fast. Although I returned mine due to the nature of me not liking rosin, i'm sure you will love it if you are into rosin.

Thanks for the info. I ended up going with a cheaper press from squishit but will be saving for a nugsmasher.

Personally I wouldn't waste your time with a nugsmasher. They are very weak powered for what your paying. 2 tonnes isnt anything, it's a 2.5" x 2.5" plate so 6.25 square inches with 2 tonnes is only 320 psi so nowhere near the ideal pressure you want unless your only pressing a gram or 2 at a time.

I got my press for 250 and it's a 10 tonne with a caged 3x5 from amazon (which rocks) for 400, so 650 Canadian delivered I got a beast of a setup.
Nugsmasher mini is 749.99 Cad for reference.

I went with the Dake 10 ton and the caged Low Temp Plates....love the setup and the press can even be used for other things if need be! The caged setup allows perfect alignment -great idea and well worth the additional cost, imo.
