Has anyone else noticed......

Has anyone else noticed a fresh green/grass smell right after grow lights turn off? I mean they are off at 10, and I literally can be sitting there without looking at a clock and be like "oh must be 10".

I will even notice it if you remove a plant out from under the light to water or check it overthat it will do this.

I think Marijuana is one of those plants that communicates with other plants through pheromone signals. Like acacias in Africa during droughts will turn poisonous via pheromone signalling from other acacias being eaten.

Therefore disturbing the plants in some way, like moving them, brushing against them or breaking a piece signals the plant to start producing that fresh weed stench to help drive off predators and warm other plants in the area of an attack and get them ramping up pheromone products of their own.

As far as lights going out, I've noticed that smell as well but I lack a theory as to why it exists.
