Has anyone here vaped long-term?

I've been vaping for about 10 years and I find I cough more vaping than I do compared to smoking. Does anyone experience this too?

I also read this recent article and I'd like to know people's thoughts about it.

VP, been vaping about a year. I notice I don't cough now and I find tasting what I'm smoking is really enjoyable. I set my vaporizer on the lowest setting and when I just have harvested I notice that the high is much cleaner if the product is still a little damp. The terpenes are amazing.

Some prefer clouds of smoke when they set it at the hottest and all that coughing. Not for me.

Lots of different types of vaping.

Those counterfeit carts you buy at sticker stores or on-line are probably the most dangerous, IMO, because of heavy metals and pesticides.

I have been vaping every day with a dry herb vaporizer, for 3 years now and my lungs have improved. I use to have a noticeable wheeze in my lungs, and just had a physical last week and no wheezing noted.

I also quit smoking ciggs 10+ years ago, so might have helped too, but I was heavy joint smoker til 3 years ago and at that time had the lung wheezing.

I set my vape fairly high, I'll try lowering the temp and see if that helps.

I`ve been dry herb vaping for over 20 years. When I first switched over from bongs to vapes I could feel my lungs getting better each day.

Strange thing is that I`ve developed a tickle in my throat that leads to fits of coughing.

They all seem to share the same bottleneck/issue. They have metal/tungsten/whatever heating elements or atomizers which may degrade over time. Or even immediately in those cheap disposables. Especially at high temperatures.

If I were a betting man (and I am) I would suggest vaping at the lowest temperature possible. Seems like the Volcano has the longest use track record with patients. I'd buy that when I'm able to afford it.
