Has anyone tried....

Hi just looking to upgrade my lighting and came across this LED bulb, and was just wondering if any of you guys have tried it before?

It's very expensive and is sending the majority of the light emitted in the wrong direction. Unless you're doing a vertical grow for lettuce and herbs I'd stay away. Take a look around here at some of the other members who are using COBS like the Cree CXA or the bridgelux vero series. Much better value for the money.

6500 is AWESOME for vegging, and apparently for the last ~ 7 days to harvest

If it's also available on ~ 3000, then kool, BUT,

The radiating pattern is not good for primary lighting

Great to hang between plants under the main canopy
