I've heard that seaweed extract is awesome for cannabis foliar etc etc.. I am interested to know if anyone has used this, how it was used, dosage etc...

Also can it be used from Veg through to Flower, or is it reccomended for use in Veg only?

I'd like to know what other Foliar sprays people use? and what effect the spray has on your ladies?

Hope to hear some good replies soon :) REP! For great answer + pics etc - STELTHY :leaf:

I would use it on veg and maybe the first 2 weeks of flowering, not after the small popcorn buds start to form, i would refrain from spraying anything on them but water. But yes in veg it is a great foliar. My rule is if I foliar spray on the leaves I wash it off the following day with straight water, espicially if you are trying to contend with mites.

Soluble Seaweed Extract is a concentrated, comprehensive gardener’s tool in powder form. The concentrate is made from 100% pure, organic Norwegian kelp (Ascophyllum nodosum) harvested on the Atlantic coast of Canada.

This highest-quality kelp is a rich natural source of over 60 chelated nutrients, vitamins, amino acids and naturally occurring hormones that stimulate plant growth, and has been celebrated for its natural fertilizing properties for centuries.

Enhanced seed germination, promotion of a healthy root system, and rapid stem and shoot development are among the recognized benefits of using this kelp extract.

Versatile Soluble Seaweed Extract can be sifted with soils to create custom blends for planters, or added to the hydroponic reservoir.

Soluble Seaweed Extract can also be stirred with water to create a liquid for use as a foliar spray.

Guaranteed not to clog emitter lines, the fine seaweed concentrate will pass through 1:50,000 sieves.

Concentrated kelp is an exceptional value for all growers: in powder form, Soluble Seaweed Extract can be stored indefinitely.

Whether used in soil, hydroponic systems or as a foliar spray, regular application of Soluble Seaweed Extract will enable the grower to reap the benefits of the power powder from the sea. - STELTHY :leaf:

I like to foliar spray with small amounts of micro, I use RO water so they really enjoy a micro foliar, well I use Cal-Mag it has iron in it. Lots of micro does not so if you are using Ro'd water your micro must be alot higher of a tds level.

Do you spray the whole plant or just the under-sides of the leaves, or the the top of the leaves ? - STELTHY :leaf:

just the underneath of the leaves, with the lights off to prevent any burnage from liquid being on the leaves as that acts as a magnifying glass and will leave necrosis spots everywhere.

I would avoid any kind of oily foliar spray like concern for instances. It leaves a film on the leaves and actually forms a barrier on the leaves that looks like vegetable oil or something I would use a hot pepper organic foliar for mites, if that problem ever arises
