High All, I finally decided to get something out of the "clippings" and other stuff that I've been throwing out, and went out and bought a 5 gallon, 5 bag bubble system.
I looked on the internet and found a company that wanted about 58 bucks shipped! bags were chinese, but guaranteed!
Here's the problem, Ive had bad luck in the past with purchasing over the internet so I decided that I'd look into a place locally with the infamous "bubble bags"!! I took 1 look at the price and ran like hell!!!!
Started looking around and found a place that sells "pot of gold" hash bags, (www.thegreenvapor.com) I think these are also chinese (don't know) but are reinforced in many places that some of it's chinese predecessors aren't!
A friend of mine had and used some he found on ebay and was impressed with the 1st use, but not after! he said these bags look and feel better then his "cheapo" bags did, and is waiting to see how mine work before buying some for himself!
Now here's my question, for everything it officially cost me just under $122 tax included! the 5 gallon, 5 bag set-up ran me $80! (sale price) 2, 5 gallon buckets @ $2.69 each, a paint/cement mixer @ 9.36 and a electric drill (got home and found out my cordless makita wouldn't lock and hold the mixer
) found a brand new in the box black and decker 7.0 (appears to have never been used) at a pawn shop around the corner and paid $25 for it.
I was able to do everything in 3 stops, mostly because of good ol home depot! (I only get 1 day off a week, so this matters) and all were within a 10 mile radius from where I live, with gas costing what it does I thought it should be relevant, so throw in another $2.
$121.74 total! so was this good or bad, did I pay to much?
