hash - dry or wet

so i had someone chop the top buds off my plants this year and had to harvest early. :( i was gonna use the leftovers to make hash. would it be best to let the plant dry out or could i do it when its still green. thanks

just what I was wondering, unless you have tons of it and you rub yours hands on it then scrape your palms, Indian Charis style!!

i let mine dry until it's "crunches" but doesn't "crumble" when i'm making bubble hash. if i'm dry screening or doing butane extraction i let it dry until it's "bone dry".
