Hash from stuff grown by a moron...

Hey, guys. Noob here, spent the better part of the day lurking today and haven't found a good answer, so I decided to start my own thread. I rent, and I'm not brave enough to grow right now, but I have in the past, so I do have a bit of experience. Recently, my area hit a drought, and I was having trouble scoring. A friend of my sister hooked us up with some stuff from her "backyard". Supposedly, her husband is growing for personal use, and they hooked us up with a couple of ounces. Guys, this idiot knows NOTHING about growing, or, more specifically, curing weed. What we got was a big bag of green dust, leaves, and, well, yeah, you see (sorry, best picture my phone would capture). Doesn't even smell like weed. It is only because I have some experience growing that the stuff was even RECOGNIZABLE as weed. So, needless to say, its unsmokeable. I tried a bowl of it, and after the 20 min coughing fit, I was totally not high. So, my long-winded question is thus: Can I still make hash out of this stuff? What method should I use? I've never made hash before, so I'm kinda at a loss. How much do I need? (I have about a quarter, and if I can make this work, I'll get the rest from my sis and "hash it out"...sorry, bad pun) Thanks for your help guys, and I'm sorry if this was answered elsewhere and I was unable to find.

I'd be pissed if someone gave me that. That looks like ground up leaves. It probably won't do shit either way. Make some butter with it.

I would have been pissed had we paid. But it was a gift. I am planning on sitting down with the dood and teaching him how to cure. The leaves in it are actually whole, its ground up buds, just dried improperly.

I misspoke, there was an effect, it just wasn't nearly as it should have been for smoking a whole bowl. I did get hungry, as well, and I'm the type (that smokes WAY too much) who can't eat until I smoke, so there's that...

In any case, I got a bud comin' over with an order for me, so I'm not desperate, I just hate to see weed go to waste....

I'd try baking with it. I got a free shitty bag a weed kinda like this and the edibles we made didn't turn too bad.

Make oil from it, or brownies. If oil just use alcohol the highest % you can find from wallmart in the pharmacy. Put weed in glass jar put cover with just enough to cover the weed. Shake and shake every time you go by it for a few days. Strain through a gold coffee filter than empty into glass/pyrex baking pan put outside and check every day till it is all evaporated than scrap with a razor blade and enjoy.

If brownies, use a oil based box mix and put oil in pan and add 8 gr or 12 gr to the oil and heat for 20 min. at low LOW!!! heat if to high it will evaperoate. Strian through a gold coffee filter and make as per instructions. Cut a 9x9 pan into 9 and eat just one wait 1 to 11/2 hr and repeat as necessary.
