Hash vs flower

Anybody care to point me in the right direction for proven hash genetics that are suited to the very high northeast and or any stories about how yall run your trim or whole plants in a bubble or water based extraction .

What plants did good for you? My last big grow had fire flower n shitty bubble.. I fresh froze last year with dry ice and ice chests in the rain and they turned into budcycles that needed to be melted before losing trics to hash sieve process... Wasted my whole several pound flower harvest turned onto like a zip of shitty bubble... But not this year! I got some plans I think... Wouldn't mind brainstorming.. whatchu thinking?
