Anybody else hate the new Leafly format? What other sites are legit for reviews and info regarding strains?

Whenever I see upgrades to a site my heart always sinks hah. Like when they did it here the other day as soon as I saw I just thought damn I bet they fucked it up completely. Like I can't stand the new overgrow either and I would really like to participate over there.

Gamespots website change was awful too. Used to be a great review site so easy to navigate and get the basic info you needed like leafly was. Most review sites are just a barrage of trash now. Stick to one thing and do it well in those cases I would recommend to them.

I always use strainfinder/seedfinder. I prefer their format to even the old leafly. But Ive always hated leafly's site.

Most reviews were of people buying the weed from shops anyway. Never really found it helpful for id'ing strain or genetic make up of strains.
You really had to scour but damn sometimes you would find golden reviews that included basics like taste and smell...It helped me tons throughout the years doing basic research on what I wanted to grow or breed. I do wish the reviews would be better but I will take 1 of 30 or so vs nothing.

I think Leafly is really more intended for the retail market, and in that regard, it's getting better. The reviews are basically Yelp for weed, both in style and usefulness. It's great if you're looking to buy retail marijuana and you want to see which dispensaries have it in stock, in what amounts, and at what price. There are more dispensaries than grocery stores in my neighborhood, this is actually a great time saver now that they've improved their database management and the online inventory occasionally matches the store's inventory.

For strain info, I check leafly after I've checked wikileaf, seedfinder, allbud, the breeder's website, jbc, glg, instagram, and attitude.

The point is they Broke what was fine.... No reason they can't do both well. Hope they wise up and keep growers in mind.

I used to go on it but when looking up strain reviews, smoke reports etc. All I got lately was;

" Hi everybody, This is superstoner douchebag Dan. Ive got the best weed, dabs, carts, edibles, best uber potent weed, etc, etc." The new format was just the fial nail I the coffin for me.
