it takes 450 cubic feet of CO2
gas to make one cubic foot
of dry ice, which has a temperature of -109 ̊ Fahrenheit

and 10 times the cooling power of regular ice. if used correctly one pound of dry ice a day placed in an over hot grow will not only cool it but boost the growth (if in veg) or flower production of your plant(s)

Only downside is no regulation for releasing the co2. I'm not sure how long it'd take a pound to thaw at the temps you're running

Dry Ice is generally not very toxic, but the outgassing from it can cause hypercapnia due to buildup in confined locations.

it may be good for your plants but you want to limit your time in the room

They have this at a local grocery store. I might try picking some up, I have ten plants in flower and would love to see the results. Of have to think of where I would set it in my tent, tho.

I have a thousand watt dimmable ballast in a 4x2 tent that is already air conditioned. I can give them plenty of light if I wanted (only been running 400) BC I can easily keep my temps down, but with this idea I might be able to put the air conditioner in the bedroom window, lol. Not to mention help capitalize on all that fucking light I have.
