Having major RH issues and cannot seem to lower. Need advice on defoliation

Plants are in 3rd week of veg. 3 Jack Herer in 2x2

I did my final transplant into 12L fabric pots yesterday. Plants seem to have handled it well as they have continued to grow.

My RH is 85% at night and I’m lucky to get 75% during the day.

Air circulation seems to increase RH. I have tried to use a dehumidifier in my lung room but this increases my temps too much and doesn’t really make that much of a difference.

I think that a light defoliation is the next step. However, I haven’t don’t this previously and need some advice on what leaves to clear out.

Any other advice on lowering RH would be welcome.

What is the RH in the room that it is located? You have to fight that battle first, the RH in your tent will never be lower than outside of it. You likely will have to get a better dehumidifier for the room that the tent is located in, and deal with the miniscule amount of heat they put off. If the RH in your room is fine, you can try taking off ALL the fan leaves and see where that gets you. But it probably won't get you far, and you might have to kill a plant or 2 so that you have some smokeable bud. Lot of the humidity is coming from the soil and roots, so even smaller pots in the future could help too.

First off, that tent can only fit one plant. If you have high RH, you only option is to use a dehumidifier or air conditioner. The only other way to lower RH is to increase temperature which is usually not the option you want.

The exhaust fan must be dialed higher with the end of pipe closer to the plants drawing more away, then its pushing thru the filter at the other end of the pipe outside the tent.
