Having PH problems with soil

The soil from my supplier seems to be acidic, its made of coca husk, peat moss, and perlite.

I tested the water run off and the Ph is 5.4 and seems acidic.. The water was poured in at 7.1, shouldnt it exit closer to 6.7 or around there?

I think this caused my last grow to have lose airy buds that wernt very resiny, and after the harvest the soil didnt seem to have enough roots in it.

What do you guys think about this? Any tips on where to get good soil, or fix this problem. Any soil advice would help alot.

Thanks!

how large was the container you were growing in? did the plants look all big, healthy, and bushy taking up the entire container above the soil, but then seemed to not have enough roots when you checked out the soil itself after harvest?
do you know what the ph of the runoff was after you'd water?

5.4 is certainly less than ideal
highly recommend dolomite to your soil mix - 1 tbsp per gallon of soil does wonders for ph
