I'm not messing with my other Autos. Damn it.

Bag seeds should be fine. I top all my seedlings above the 2nd node. Looks like you did 3rd or so, but hard to tell in the pics. I wouldn't worry about it.

Is there something wrong with letting the thing alone for awhile and let it do its thing....like grow``?

I wasn't worried about the bag seeds. I don't even know if they are females. My luck they both have testicles.

What is wrong with learning on scrap plants?

I did my first ever Toppings o 12 Feb with some 2 week old cuttings
4 days later the node below the cut was a perfectly symmetrical V.
on ALL of the clones I had topped!

Very simple and very predictable technique
and practising on some bag seed that has little value....
Perfect way to begin.

But Auto's start growing and they continue growing and then they stop.
They have an internal clock that doesn't stop, slow down or speed up.
Any type of trimming only uses up an AUTO's reserves on repairing itself
rather than producing buds....
AUTO'S - JUST LET IT BE.

I'm aware I may have screwed myself out of that auto. It was my error.

I'm just worried I didn't do it correctly on the bag seeds.

Do you happen to have pictures of your topping? (Before and after would be wonderful!)

Yes - I think I did a few journal shots with them.

you did a fine job, not to worry! I agree that it looks like you topped at the 3rd node, so not as predictable as the 2nd node-4tops deal but they'll do fine. I just topped mine last night and did before & after pics in my most recent update, happy to post the pics here if you'd like.
You're doing fine with your growing, relax and let the plants do their thing for a bit!
be easy,
:peace:

I'd like to see the pictures and follow your progress.

I took 24 cuttings on Dec 31st and flipped the donors to 12/12 the day after (they're now on Day 66 of Flower and I'll harvest this weekend or next....?

The cutting all did fine.
They Rooted through January.
Vegged thru February
I parted with some
17 Are on Day 7 of Flower
2 are being kept as donors

(some are topped, other LST'ed and the 2 donors were supercropped for bushiness)

And I just ordered 10 T H Seeds Critical Hog
(with about 13 free seeds in the Attitude Birthday Sale)
