Having problems with Gnats? Helpful Tips

Here is some simple yet organic ways to fix the problems without any harmful chemicals. 1. Cut a potato in like little rods place them in the soil after 12 hours or a day pull them out you should notice the larvae from the gnats drawn to the potato because they are after the roots of your plats hince the potato is a root. 2. Place a small dish or container next to you plant and put vinegar in the container because of the smell the gnats are attracted to the smell it puts off and as they land they get stuck and die. 3. Sprinkle sand on the top of your soil as the gnats start comming thru the soil the sand acts like quick sand to those dreadful pest. 4. Watering to much also can cause those gnats larvae to grow, let the soil dry before you water again helps from over watering the plant as well as root rot. pretty cool..i have gnats all in my soil, i re potted in a different location with different soil it bothered me so much.
