Headed inside to try some Hydro? Pls help system size

Is it worth it to go bigger on the total system size for more stability? Going to make my own RDWC system was thinking about trying 10gallon trash cans? Maybe 6 for a test run. Is it going to make a difference verse 5gal buckets? Like to go large tree size tent 96 tall. Never done a hydro run. Been doing soil many years. Time has come to try it out. Got some killer beans to pop. Going to try some jacks.

I'd go with bigger containers, longer between filling up and maintenance and more water=longer to heat up

This ismy 4-tote UC setup I built 3 years ago.
17 gallon totes with 6"netlids connected with 2" pvc.
I run a 700gph mag drive recirc pump for waterfalls/oxygenation and a 396gph magdrive connected to a 1/4hp chiller.
I just finished my winter grow on a mono-crop of Primal Punch and I'm over a kilo of flower from the 4 girls.
These are some old pics to give you an idea of what I'm talking about.

That looks pretty lit bro. How long are those containers? I got a SF4000 for coverage for it? Tent is 8long 4wide . Have you guys tried jacks nutes?

Looking for one now with a side that pops open on the top like that.
