I have a 3 foot x 3 foot x 6 foot grow tent with 6inc cf and fan with cooltube and 400hps 2 x 4inch fresh air intake with extractor vented direct outside
past few days temps outdoors have risen to over 35 and my tent is running hot @29-30 due to hight temps out doors
what should anyone surgest doing I'm running 24h with autos going to drop time to 18 would it be best to set the lights to come on say 10pm when its lots cooler or ditch the hps for led or cfl

Always try to keep you on cycle during the night. Mine all fire up at 8pm. Other than that, just make sure that you are giving the bulbs cool air from outside to keep the temps down. You may need to look into getting an AC unit if you keep having such high temps.

I run my lights 24/7. Whats the temp of air going in? And 90°f is fine.. do you have ac? That should be super easy to cool

Air conditioning is what you want in that situation. A portable unit would probably be enough, but you will need to vent it outside somewhere or the heat just makes its way back in... Plus they're noisy and cost a fortune to run.

Is your fan all the way on? Or are you using a speed controller?

You could get a booster fan and either run with your cooltube to move more air or run into the tent as an additional intake. At this point any cool air is welcome.

Wow that sounds amazing.
Try +38°c for over 100 days lol
And 12 months without a measurable amount of rainfall.

Texas man, shit dont play
